Weiterlesen A truly lovely place for morning/afternoon tea. While I wouldn't say the coffee is out of this world, it was fine, and they had a variety of lovely cakes on offer. The ones we chose were excellent, thoughtfully served warm with a dollop of cream. <br/ <br/ The best thing about this place is the setting, and the homewares/clothing/accessories shop and nursery. You can take a little walk in the garden after having your tea. Lilies on Brougham is a good choice if you're in town on a nice day.

Weiterlesen We walked past Ton Co during lunchtime, so we decided to get some takeaway to try. We'd heard about this place before for its amazing tonkatsu, so we were excited to see it was open and there was a 10% discount for all takeaway! We tried the striploin and the rib-eye, and they were both fantastic. Both were very juicy and tender. We got the curry and miso sauce with them. The original tonkatsu sauce they came with were also great! The rice and miso soup were also great, and balanced out the meal. The miso soup didn't seem to be out of the packet, but rather very fresh and homemade. We were very satisfied with the meal. We were also impressed with the friendly service. We'll definitely be back when we get a hankering for good katsu!
