Weiterlesen First of all, there was only one poor girl front of house, Lianne, serving drinks, making coffee, taking food orders and serving table, and she did it brilliantly. We had booked a table, and ordered drinks, but still had a fair wait for food. I ordered the gammon and eggs, and a mountain of peas, and apart from a small ramekin of chips it was good. My wife ordered the Chicken Penang curry, which consisted of five strips of chicken, a solid fusion of rice, and lots of beans. As a side she ordered a ramekin of chips at £2.95. What a rip off!!! Our daughter ordered the Steak, chips and bearnaise sauce £20.20p. to be cooked medium rare which, was cold and over cooked. It was subsequently sent back. By the time the replacement steak had arrived my wife and I had nearly finished our meals and our daughter had lost her appetite!! In conclusion I would suggest that this establishment needs a good shake up, the food is definitely overpriced for a pub meal, and I would recommend anyone considering a meal in this pub to give it a wide berth.

Steak was slightly undercooked. However, service was great. Waiter was attentive. We were reimbursed for a dish we did not enjoy which was pleasant. Live music was great, set the tone for the ambiance but also very loud.

I am from Italy and I think this restaurant shouldn't have 76% of good feedback, specially with all the really good restaurants you can find just next to it. Also the service was bad.

We went to the Shelbourne for a function and finger food. We really didn't know what to expect as sometimes finger food is a bit hit and miss. Well it was certainly a hit there. The quality was excellent and the quantities for a mere $20 a head were great. We had arancini, spring rolls, satay chicken skewers, samosas, fish pieces, prawn torpedos, thai beef salad, salt and pepper squid, dim sims, spicy meatballs and more. The service was great, the food was great and the quantities were excellent. Well worth having a function here!

Weiterlesen Was excited to try this new dessert bar in Eastwood, based on the positive reviews, but was sadly disappointed The icecream was not creamy and flavour was indistinct (tasted a bit sour in fact) The mochi waffles sound like an innovative idea, but were a strange hard/chewy texture The pandan coconut waffles were the biggest let down soggy, cakey and doughy, with the faintest taste of pandan The ambience was pleasant and service was friendly, but unfortunately not enough to salvage the food that was served.
