Being Japanese food newbies, we had more than a few questions. Our waiter gleefully explained the menu and made suggestions based on our tastes. Would recommend Mikado to all.

I am a breakfast person and it doesn't matter what time of day I will still order breakfast. Give them a try. I will have to say that Jeff and his staff are great. They are a tremendous improvement from the previous owners.

The only down side-and not a huge deal-the question was asked on the reservation about whether or not we were celebrating anything. It was my wife's birthday so I noted that. But nothing was said about it until I mentioned to the waiter that my wife enjoyed her birthday dinner. But like I said, that is a minor thing. Everything else was top notch!

My sons girl friends uncle has eaten sushi all over the Orient and said this is as good as it gets for authenticity.
