Nice home cooked Italian worth a visit if you are nearby. Full of locals and families.

Weiterlesen This restaurant is one of my favourites to visit when I am in Melbourne. As a vegetarian it is exciting to be able to eat everything on the menu. It's centrally located up some stairs with a nice leafy view of Swanston St. Both us had drinks, soup, salads, savoury, desserts for under $30. An absolute bargain! Food options limited to what is available on the day served in a cafeteria style. It has always been delicious food, promptly served at the best price in Melbourne. I couldn't cook food this cheaply at home.

The Clam Ham chowder was watery, not like a typical chowder, i suspect it was microwaved. My partners Paella was cooked within an inch of it's life, soggy taseless barely edible. My seafood spaghetti was the only positive was quite good. Disappointing experience, I would not return.

Unfortunately it didn’t meet the expected standard. Traditional curry laksa scaldingly hot (as expected) but lacked richness and depth of flavour. Very little chilli heat, and no side serve of chilli to try and salvage something. The low cost didn’t compensate for a disappointing meal.

Weiterlesen Heute Nachmittag habe ich an der Bude vor Elmövenschiss einen Burger mit gefüllter Ente, Apfel und Krautsalat bestellt. Es gab einen zerbrochenen Amarettino dazu. So einen köstlichen Burger habe ich wohl noch nie gegessen! Die ungewöhnliche Kombination der Aromen hat mir sehr gut gefallen, und ich freue mich schon darauf, diesen tollen Burger bald wieder zu genießen.

Vielen Dank auch an den freundlichen Service . Ein gelungener Vormittag , wir kommen gern wieder.
