Als wir dann zum Gasthof Obermaier gegangen sind, hat die Gans hervorragend geschmeckt, die Atmosphäre war perfekt und die Bedienung sehr kompetent. Nie wieder zurück nach Trudering!

Properly poured pints of Guinness, not that foamy nonsense you get at the yuppie bars. Good parking next door in the City lot or decent street parking if that's full.

The pad kee mao with crispy chicken was ok, baby corn is always a red flag in the dish for me. The sauce on the noodles was very mild, a running theme for a cuisine that's full of bold and contrasting flavors. The dish also came with a side of sweet chili sauce instead of being coated in the basil sauce, and it was watery and again, very mild. Service was very sweet and polite. They did add an 18% gratuity to our table which a friend pointed out to me when I was adding 20%, so I removed what would have been a large extra tip. Not sure if that's standard or had to do with the size of our party, but generally it's nice to be told.

One of the hardest working bartenders in town was behind the bar and she provided excellent service with a smile despite being pulled in many directions. Enjoyed the sushi, bibimbap, and a good bottle of pinot grigio. Fun evening.
