Weiterlesen Have been wanting to try here for ages as I am both an admirer of Persian cuisine and culture. We placed an order for collection and went to pick up. Almost immediately after entering the restaurant and attempting to stand out the way of the...other customers waiting we were scolded by a man working the pass, who I assume is one of/the owner due to the three of us entering together. All of us being boys he rudely said to us “is this a sausage fest? You don’t need three people to pick up a collection”. Granted, the area was quite busy and while I could understand the mans point, for him to be so rude immediately instead of just asking his paying customers politely for only one of to stay in the shop baffles me. As someone who works as a chef myself, if I were ever to be so rude to a customer I would immediately be disciplined, which is what makes me the assume the man was the owner. What this man didn’t know was that I have recently had major surgery, the order was in my name and as it was a large order my friends just wanted to make sure I could carry everything myself. We had ordered a good few sauces and they only gave us one, so we had to wait another minutes while they figured out what was missing. I wasn’t bothered by this, more amused at the man behind the pass ineptness at reading checks and putting sauces in little tubs. Perhaps if he spent more time getting his orders right instead of attempting to intimidate his paying customers his service would run a little better. The silver lining was that the food was delicious, however this fact didn’t sweeten the overall experience as the for the price (mine was around the meat to rice ratio was pretty poor. Don’t waste your money here, great food let down by small portions of meat and terrible rude service. This is the only time I have ever felt compelled to leave anywhere a bad review, that’s how disappointed I am with my experience of sholeh.
