Weiterlesen I chose to have a small get together with my Greek family at Athena Greek Cuisine. The selection on the menu offered us many choices of dishes we do not cook at home. The environment was pleasing with live Greek music and the food impressed all of us. The Octopus, Black Sea Bass, and Lamb specials were spectacular. Next to home I will only eat here for authentic Greek food.

The portions were big enough and everything was fine but left us wanting something more. It just didnt wow us. Will we go back? I dont think so.

I had a hard time deciding between three and four stars for this one, because I really see the potential in this place, but I think they just had an off night.... We started with the jumbo lump crab cake, and it was tasty, but it couldn?t decide if it wanted to be hot or cold. We got the Delmonico steak, and it was really good, but couldn?t really differentiate it from a regular filet. We also got the lobster mashed potatoes, which were good, and the artisan mac cheese. Again, not sure what the differences between the artisan and regular mac cheese, but it was good. Lastly, we tried their famous butter cake dessert. It was pretty good, but dry. Our server was very good, and the atmosphere was nice, but busy.

We ordered food on the phone got there, and paid it wasn 't ready. Then when we complained they told us it would be another 45 mins to 1 hour. Then they let us know they were sold out of some items. Instead of offering a refund the lady who is the mom boss told the cashier daughter not to refund us when we asked for it, but to offer us something else.
