Weiterlesen There’s not a lot of buzz on iyasare but it has become one of our absolute favorites in Berkeley with consistently yummy foods!!!! Our favs are the California rolls (with real crab pieces! , kakiage tempura with shrimp and bonito broth, bacon grilled mochi, and any of their salads and sushi are always wonderful. Seats can get pretty booked so make sure you reserve ahead. And their crews are so attentive as well.

We had dinner there. We're earlier than our appointment, but we have a table. A recommendation, ask your hostess to smile more... she looked upset all the time. The food was excellent, My husband ordered the Crisp Ente confit with potstickers and the Alaskan healbutt and I ordered the glazed pig bell and the red snapper Veracruzana. The combination was fantastic! The noise level when we arrived there was noisy at 8:30, but it was later moderate. Our server was very attentive.

Weiterlesen Schönes Restaurant mit gutem Service. Doch leider ist die Küche sehr unflexibel. Ich war geschäftlich in der Brasserie des Les Deux essen. Ich habe mir das Ziel also nicht selbst ausgesucht. Eine Woche vor dem Besuch hatte ich im Restaurant angerufen und nach veganen Optionen gefragt. Ohne mir große Hoffnungen machen zu können, versprach mir die freundliche Mitarbeiterin trotzdem, es für die Küche zu vermerken. Meine Befürchtungen haben sich vor Ort bestätigt: man konnte oder wollte mir nichts Veganes zubereiten. Dies habe ich in den letzten Jahren so noch nirgendwo erlebt. Ist man nicht wählerisch, bekommt man eigentlich immer irgendeine vegane Option. Salat mit Essig und Öl oder eine Portion Pommes gehen zur Not immer. Für mich hat es sich angefühlt, als hätte man sich im Les Deux bei der Wahl zwischen dem Zufriedenstellen des Gastes und den persönlichen Ansprüchen des Kochs an die Gerichte gegen das Zufriedenstellen des Gastes entschieden. Kleinen Abzug auch beim Service, da Wein ungefragt ins halbleere Glas nachgeschenkt wurde und dabei verschiedene Jahrgänge gemischt wurden. Vegetarian options: Ein paar Optionen vorhanden. Keine veganen Optionen möglich. Dietary restrictions: Keinen veganen Optionen möglich

Weiterlesen Ate here with my aunt, sister, and brother in law on a Friday night. My BIL recommended the place after having dinner here a handful of times. PROS: Food was very good. I recommend the savory mushrooms and Mac and cheese for sides. For my entree I had the pasta and pork spare rib dish, and it really hit the spot. The meat was rich and tasty and the cheese they used in the pasta was A+. Nice TVs in the bar to look over at a Warriors game was appreciably aired. CONS: The side fries we had were coated with a bit too much Cajun powder that it made my throat itchy. Music a bit too loud to comfortably have a conversation with my party. In fact I think it was so loud our waiter gave us the wrong side (we ordered a baked potato and got mashed potatoes instead). No big deal on the error though. I'd come back again! Food was tasty, just wish it didn't sound like a night club.
