The only bright spot was a nice, young waitress. She should look for another job.

The white bread I paid extra for for dipping also lacked any flavor and they didn't put real butter on it, which makes a big difference. The homemade cookies atthe checkout looked delicious. Decent amount of tables for sitting, and seemed pretty clean. Lots of drink options. I didn'thave a sandwich this time (largely due to the $6.95 for a HALF) but I remember enjoying tge sandwiches and all the fresh toppingoptions in times past it's been awhile though. It would be nice if there was a $6 lunch combo for half sandwich and soup. Thatwould be very appealing. But that would run you almost $12 here and that's the price at a nicer luncheon restaurant. The service leaves something to be desired: wrong order for the drink AND the dish, and when paying the waiter complains loudly because we don't have cash to pay. It's not mentioned anywhere and he had a TPE on hand, bad faith.
