Weiterlesen We hadn't been to this place for a couple years. We were pleasantly surprised and delighted in some changes. The dining room has been redecorated and it's lovely! And the food was even better--new chef perhaps? We loved the hummus with sautéed pastrami, thought the Greek salad was excellent, and ordered their version of manti which was excellent! More meals here in our future!

Baked haddock with spinach on a bed of rice was an impressive presentation and very tasty with its tarragon aioli. My spouse was less taken with the crab cake appetizer. Beforehand, we enjoyed the special cauliflower bites, think cauliflower coated with a Buffalo sauce and blue cheese crumbles. Entree prices, even with inflation, seemed high to us. Even add-ons of chicken, etc. for salads were steep.

My pasta dish of fazzoletti (handkerchiefs) stuffed with a bit of sausage was stupendous—one of the best dishes I’ve had. Service was good albeit a tad leisurely.

The starter of sliced tomatoes with anchovies and black olives was nice, and the spaghetti with tiny clams I ordered delicious. My spouse’s ravioli with butter and sage was just lovely!

The chicken curry was a very ample serving, but not distinguished. And my spouse thought his entree equally lacking. Overall, an interesting cellar setting in a wine cave, but the food didn’t match the billing.

Our entrees were also fine, grilled veal and the octopus which was a hit with him. Warm Chocolate dessert with clementine sorbet was lovely! Service was great.
