24.02.2023 - 12:33Mrs Boglet and I were looking for a place to unwind having already had a drink in one of the modern bars that have no character, we almost passed this place by. You could walk by without noticing if in a hurry. Being from the...UK I normally try to avoid the cliche of an English or Irish style bar (we have enough of them in the UK of course). I'm really pleased we decided to try this little gem. The bar staff were particularly friendly, spoke good English and made us feel really welcome. If you want good friendly service with a good range of drinks then look no further than The Bogside Inn I couldn't recommend it more.

24.02.2023 - 04:06I have been in different Vapiannos, thrice in this particular one. The reason I come back is the good taste of the food, the reasons that I try to avoid are more: 1. The waiting is getting worse and worse. Guys you do need a...system to improve this particular thing. Is getting you to every bad reputation. 2. The attention often is very rude and careless. This time the particular case was ordering a Bruschetta. After waiting very long and asked the girl I ordered for my Bruschetta, She said pizza Bitte, Danke implying that the Bruschetta was ready on the other side of the place I ondered and I was supposed to know so. Hence it was not a Bitte neither a Danke for me in this case, it was just pure laziness and careless worker. I guess since the figure of Waitress and tips do not exist here they can just do things like that. In any case I keep on thinking the place is going low instead of high.

01.06.2022 - 04:46We visited on a Saturday afternoon. The wine bar is somewhat concealed beneath the main store pleasingly so; a hidden gem. The wine bar occupies a small space, with floor to ceiling bottle racks on every wall with a variety of seating tables,...creating a lovely cosy atmosphere. We were seated in the ‘non-smoking’ area, and although there were other patrons who were smoking elsewhere, I don’t remember being bothered by it. The small menu on the table had a number of wines that were available by the glass. The many many wines around the room- organised by style region- were available to drink for an astonishing €5 corkage charge! So we certainly took advantage of that, and found the wine to be very reasonably priced too. The food menu had a range of options, including sushi, cheeses antipasti, which suited us just perfectly. Oh, and delectable desserts too, The waiting staff were charming patient with our terrible efforts at speaking German and our indecision, and evidently very knowledgeable of their wine list. We weren’t hurried and indeed were very happy to spend a good few hours there. My only regret is that we did not stay longer, and that Meinl’s wasn’t open on Sunday! Superb, and a must for anyone with an interest in wine.
