Weiterlesen I visited Madison, Mississippi for work. That was my first time in the area. The team said they wanted to take me something special. Of course, because I'm a food, I agreed. No one could have prepared me for all the great food I wanted to experience. Until this point I've never been in a buffet, everything was delicious, well flavored and taste like at home. Quality has not been skipped at all. There were many parking spaces and seating. If you have a large group, there is no problem with sitting. The staff was very friendly and showed really southern hospitality.

The restaurant was fairly busy, appearing to be many locals. The service was excellent and the food...portions were quite big and great value. I can't complain about anything and certainly would return here if we were passing through. Thanks to the staff for all their hospitality! Thumbs up...

I was totally polite, but that was the worst. never again. this is the second time at this place they just throw their food into the bag I asked for more? then all posture, frustration, disgusting and screaming I guess it was the manager who ran into the window look i gotta fry more they have over this line and come in and get it . Mancavamo dai tavoli del Saraceno da qualche anno … memori di buone esperienze precedenti possiamo dire di aver ritrovato la qualità che ricordavamo. Locale acc... Weiterlesen Mancavamo dai tavoli del Saraceno da qualche anno … memori di buone esperienze precedenti possiamo dire di aver ritrovato la qualità che ricordavamo. Locale accogliente… servizio premuroso, giovane e attento….. cucina di alto livello. Il grande protagonista dei piatti di chef Proto é il mare e possiamo garantirvi che difficilmente troverete ristoranti che valorizzano così bene il pesce come il Saraceno. Il nostro percorso parte con una serie di appetizers offerti dalla cucina e un pre dinner che é uno splendido gomitolo di gambero fritto con note di liquirizia che già avevamo assaggiato e che si dimostra degno di un posto in carta. Iniziamo con un antipasto: il gambero rosso si fa in 4 ….. bello da vedere e interessante nell’assaggio visto che propone 4 declinazioni di gambero tra le quali spicca a nostro avviso il falso pomodoro con tartare del crostaceo stesso…. passiamo poi ad un delicatissimo e ben bilanciato raviolo con ricotta di bufala, vongole, limone e fave che ci ricorda le origini dello chef…. la nota agrumata (il limone) e il latticino di bufala ci riportano in costiera e sono elementi che ritroveremo come un fil rouge in altri piatti…. Scegliamo poi 2 main courses : un fritto di calamari, crostacei e verdure davvero ben eseguito e poi quello che per noi é il piatto della serata: Elogio alla Pezzogna…. anche qui il protagonista del piatto ci viene presentato in tre diverse declinazioni: in acquapazza con un ottimo brodetto … a tartare con limone e polvere di cappero e poi con una sorpresa che abbiamo trovato un’ idea davvero divertente e brillante: una pizza di scarola (evviva la campania!! con trancetti di pezzogna per l’appunto….. Grande portata. Concludiamo con due dessert anticipati da una sfera al cocco con un cuore liquido di pina colada (graditissimo cadeau) : assaggiamo “Banana omaggio ad andy warhol” (in memoria alla copertina del famoso album dei velvet underground da lui disegnata) bellissimo esteticamente e in gioco tra la dolcezza della banana e la nota acidula e fresca della salsa di frutta che lo accompagna e poi una colomba pasquale creata in collaborazione col maestro pasticcere Sal de Riso che é davvero una nuvola e gioia per il nostro palato. Insomma dal Saraceno si gode….. noi ringraziamo e facciamo i complimenti per una cucina che ha gusto, estetica e anche quel pizzico di ironia e gioco che non guasta mai. Bravi!!!!

Weiterlesen Affordable and homemade. this place reminds me of the Hometown pizza joints that were popular in the late 80s at the beginning of the 90s. this can be one of the last, and also the best for me. I think they've been there for over 30 years. The pizza is the best I've ever eaten and the cheapest. the salatable is fresh daily and filled with all the right items in the opposite to a ryan salatbuffet. the waitresses are some of the kindest and they have worked there one. do not waste pizza hut or dominos.
