Stumbled upon it when looking for a place to meet up with friends... The great wait staff made space for us in a private lounge where we could hear the music but still talk and OMG the live jazz combo that was playing (Friday night) was fantastic! Excellent cocktails, fun eats. I liked it so much I stayed at the attached vintage hotel, the MarQueen. So much personality, and space! Absolutely magical place! If I could give it 6 or 7 stars, I would.

Weiterlesen Small restaurant on the grounds of Brunswick Plantation. We came after a round of golf on a Friday late afternoon. Reubens and onion rings were delicious!! Like being able to get dinner without leaving the community. Our family are new condo owners so we will visit a few times a year, and will definitely stop in for dinner again. Service was a little slow at coming back to check on table, bring check etc...otherwise restaurant wasn't too busy, food was hot and fresh. We had a good time!

Weiterlesen Went to Applebee's yesterday for lunch, and the bartender was our waitress. She greeted us with a friendly smile, seated us, and served drinks promptly. I ordered my food: 8 oz sirloin with mashed potatoes and broccoli. My steak was cooked to my preference and had amazing flavor. My side dishes were also very good. I went with a young man who is on the Autism spectrum, and ordered him a platter of fries, as he wouldn't eat anything else they have due to his picky food nature. The waitress told me, after we had talked for a bit about what he likes, that though it isn't on the menu, they could make him a grilled cheese. As a person who takes this young man out frequently, it was amazing that she would offer to get him something that isn't on the menu, so he had more than just fries (which is his absolute favorite so he would have been totally okay). She kept our drinks filled and was very pleasant! I was very impressed and thankful for her courteous service.

We also ordered the sticky ribs (super yummy), and sweet potato fries. Hubby had a couple local craft beers and I had a local spritzer at our servers recommendation. To top it off we shared a slab of chocolate cake. Yup, we went all out! It was a great experience and we plan to eat there again! Thanks for being such a great server Janessa, you made the experience that much better!

We tried the avocado toast and the bacon mushroom quiche. YUM! I called ahead and picked up my order. It was ready in short time. We'll definitely go back!
