Weiterlesen My wife had lunch here with her daughter and raved about it so decided to give it a try. Opted for 2-course lunch at £10.95 per person. Starters were masala fish (with a £1.95 supplement) and chicken chaat. Also got complimentary poppadoms and dips. Came in sizzler dishes and were very tasty. Mains were lamb bhuna and chicken maharaja masala with rice and nann. Served with warm plates which is always a plus and food was also warm and very tasty. Portions were good. All washed down with 2 pints of Cobra at £5.50 each and a bottle of nonalcoholic Peroni at £3.95. Service was excellent in a very busy restaurant and the toilets were also modern and spotless. Very enjoyable and well recommended. We’ll definitely be back.

If they do that with every bill they will make some money. Not right if you ask me. I didn’t challenge.

Weiterlesen Always fancied a Greek meal on my trips so we tried this place. It was very cold outside so it was great to enter a warm restaurant. Got a table downstairs which had a really winding staircase and unsuitable for the infirm but made it anyway. Service was welcoming and friendly and we ordered a bottle of Othello red wine at £26. Opted for a sharing meze platter at £33.90 which had all the dishes you’d associate with a Greek restaurant. All the food was warm, tasty and good portions. The restaurant was modern and also very busy so booking is essential to get a table. The bill came to £59.90 and wax was a very nice experience. Recommended.

Shared meat spring rolls and salt and chilli ribs which cost an extra £2.50 given we only got 3 it wasn’t worth the extra and dishes could have been hotter. I had 2 pints of lager at 5.20 each and my wife had a can of Diet Coke at 2.50 so not too bad. We shared mains of sizzling chicken satay (extra £2) and Mongolian beef costing an extra £3. Even the fried rice cost an extra £1. That said, the plates were warm and the food was of a good quality. The biggest disappointment was that a family of 3 came in and were sat right beside us. The restaurant wasn’t busy so there was no need for this and made us feel very uncomfortable. This one thing alone would stop me returning.

Weiterlesen Saw this restaurant advertised on Trip Advisor and read the many great reviews. Got the bus from Salou to give lunch a go and we weren’t disappointed. The restaurant was fresh and modern and we opted for menu del dia at 18.90 each. Ordered a bottle of wine whilst we scoured the enticing menu. I opted for gazpacho to start which came with diced tomato, onion and peppers. My wife chose mussels marinara which were plentiful. Both dishes were great. For mains I had an entrecôte steak with French fries and asparagus with peppercorn sauce. My wife had grilled hake with prawns and clams in a seafood sauce. Again, both dishes were great. The owner clearly takes a pride in his restaurant as he asked us a few times if we were enjoying the food. We were delighted to give him the thumbs up. For dessert I had pineapple carpaccio with ice cream that I’d never seen before and my wife had lemon sorbet which was fresh. Finished off with a couple of cortados which brought our lunch to a delightful end. We’re going home in a couple of days otherwise we’d be back. Will be next time. Highly recommended.

Came with all the usual starters of ribs, chicken wings, spring rolls, salt and chilli chips and a curry sauce. Mains were chicken curry, beef with green pepper, chicken balls, prawn crackers and da sweet and sour sauce. Great value at £30 but definitely going back for more in view of the value for money. Recommended.

Ordered drinks whilst we looked through the menu and opted for a couple of prawn salads, baked potato with tuna and mayonnaise and cheesy chips. Meals were competitively priced at between 5 and 8.50 and the drinks were also well priced at between 2 and 5. The staff couldn’t have done enough for us and even entertained our grandson. The whole bill for the 4 of us was only 57 euros. Toilets were also spotless. Highly recommended and we’ll definitely be back.

The pint of beer at 4 was dearer than most other bars in the area and the wine(relatively) small was 3.50. Needless to say we won’t be back,
