Weiterlesen Came here Valentine's Day 2017. We got a voucher worth $35 for a 3-course meal for two, so only had to pay for drinks and tip+tax. First impressions: Ambience was very romantic and the design of the place was very creative and classy. The place wasn't packed like we expected for such a busy time of the year for most restaurants. Noise level was moderate but at one point, someone turned the music volume too loud it was difficult to strike up a conversation. The server was very attentive and accommodating to our needs but the food took forever to arrive! The meal included one shared starter, two entrees, and a shared dessert (all from the regular dinner menu; Valentine's Day Menu was different). For starter, we ordered the calamari. It was good, a little salty, but it being fried and all, worked well with the wasabi yogurt. For entree, we wanted to try their steak since it had good reviews, but they didn't have any! We ended up ordering the beef stroganoff which was TOO salty! It was almost inedible if not for the sour cream on top. Lastly, for dessert was the blueberry cobbler which was basically a blueberry muffin with ice cream on the side- it was ordinary. Overall, food was disappointing, and doesn't quite live up to how nice the place was. I don't think we'll ever come back here.

Zusammenfassend kann gesagt werden, dass 10 Euro für ein Franziskaner-Weißbier aus einem Glas, auf dem ein Zwiebelring getrocknet wird, zwei kleine weiße Würste und eine trockene kleine Zerkleinerung zu viel sind. Auch wenn die Bar in der Münchner Touristenzone nicht sehr hoch ist, würden andere mehr erwarten. Aber es gab genug Senf und die WW wurden in einen Topf mit geschnittenem Ton gebracht, das war schön. Eigentlich ist es auch ein nett eingerichtetes und schönes Café mit großer und guter Auswahl. Eine Wartezeit von mehr als 20 Minuten ist jedoch lächerlich. Allerdings hatte ich die ursprüngliche sympathische Operation des umständlichen Cafés für zentrale Paare vergessen und mehrmals für den Fehler entschuldigt. Die Karten wurden ausgetauscht; Großstädte sind wahrscheinlich keimfester als unsere aus ländlichen Gebieten, ich finde verschlissene Papierkarten, deren Seiten noch nicht unbedeutend miteinander verkleben in jedem Fall abenteuerlich zu dieser Jahreszeit. Im Allgemeinen ist der Gugelbecher symphonisch.
