The Queen's Oak - Wokingham

We had a pleasant evening dinner in the early Friday evening, thanks to the warm, friendly and welcoming staff and great food. I love the aubergine parmigiana delicious! we like the atmosphere in the Queen’s oak and look forward to coming back soon.

We visited for a valentines meal having previously been to the Queen's Oak. There were items on the menu unavailable, which was a shame as due to allergies it left me quite limited. The calves live whist tasting nice was quite sinewy, my husbands food was lovely (apparently : What ruined the evening for us both was hearing the older waitress moaning about me when we left. This was extremely unprofessional and rude. £85 spent (one starter 2 mains and 2 glasses of wine to be insulted is not acceptable. Suffice to say we won't bother returning and wouldn't recommend to friends.

There were 6 of us dining here today and we all thoroughly enjoyed everything we had. The food was wonderful. The staff were very efficient, friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was great with a lovely open fire. We will be back soon. Thank you.

This country pub has a charming family atmosphere and is located in a beautiful area. Despite the roadworks in Finchampstead, it is easy to find your way to the pub from any direction. I highly recommend it.
