Restaurant bewertenAmazing! I tried the butter tart and quiche, both were delicious with a great crust. The quiche had sun dried tomatoes which added a fantastic flavor. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant.
My wife and I tried this restaurant for the first time for lunch on Saturday. She ordered the Turkey Wrap and enjoyed it, with real carved turkey breast that was very moist. I had the hummus wrap, which was also very good. We also bought 2 cookies and 2 squares to take home. The Coconut Rhubarb square was a bit disappointing as the rhubarb was dried pieces on top, but had a great coconut taste. The date square was decent with lots of oatmeal. The peanut butter cookie was okay, but I didn't enjoy the molasses cookie.
I highly recommend visiting Riverside Cafe next time you're in Ontario. The pies and butter tarts are unbelievably delicious, freshly baked, and reasonably priced. The staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend stopping by.
My friends and I purchased an assortment of their sweet and savoury pies so we could try them all. Tough to pick a favourite! They were all amazing. The pulled pork was so good, and the cherry pie was equally to die for! The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was relaxed and super clean. We all purchased some to take home. Highly recommend!!
A friend recommended this place and it was so worth the drive from our west-side location. Do yourself a favour and order whatever the special pie is that day. The lemon meringue pie was good too but nothing like the amazing pulled pork pot pie topped with mac cheese with crumbled maple bacon.
