Restaurant bewertenReally great restaurant in northwest suburbs. If you like seafood, you will not be disappointed here. I haven't been there yet, but if you have Halibut, you have to try. Very recommended. Make sure that the reservation here place is usually quite crowded.
I'm glad they opened again. Some tables are not used to allow appropriate social distancing. The food was amazing. I tried the Copper Rover Socket Salmon. It was great. My daughters loved the blue crab claw appetizer and we all enjoyed the Calamari appetizer. The other fish, shrimp and crab dinners received high grades. As usual, the staff was very friendly.
100% GREAT FOOD!! The place definitely brings you to a holiday moment feeling. From waiters who show shorts and Hawaii style shirts to a blue water crab tank and the brand Merchandise on shelves. This place is well trained and organized for COVID-19 purposes. The MOST IMPORTANT, with the BOBCHINNS EXPERIENCE, is your WAITER. ADRIANA She made us welcome with positive attitude and great suggestions.
I've heard about this place for years and finally went and it was worth the whole hype I heard. The lobster tasted fresh and had good taste, fortunately it was not overcooked or rubbery. The steak was actually also a pretty good steak, had not expected such a nice taste of beef from a fish restaurant. I love white rice so they couldn't screw up that one up and the red potato side was a good choice. The pasta was well cooked, but the star was the crab cake. Definitely the crab can taste and it had a good crust to the outside. Mai Tai was fruity and not exaggerated with alcohol, although you could definitely smell the alcohol in it.
Best clam chowder that I have had outside of New England! Lobster was cooked perfectly; very tender and flaky. (It is very easy to overcook lobster and it gets very rubbery. They were great about the fact that someone at our table had a food allergy. Service was very good.
