Simple meal, we'll cooked but I find the Yorkshire pudding too large

Very dissapinting with food , as been before and had good food. Scampi was over cooked and chips appeared to be mostly end bits on all 5 plates Absolutely packed, lack of staff and so noisy as groups near us standing at the bar Won't be returning in the near future

Lovely country pub. Reasonable selection of vegetarian menu options. The food was really good, very tasty. And a large enough serving I could bring home what I didn't finish. Only issue we had was speed of service. We were there just over 3 hrs (only 2 of us, main, dessert, coffee) and couldn't really work out why everything was talking so long. It wasn't just the speed of food, it was the time between as well. Staff were friendly and stopped to chat after our meal. There was live music that evening so that was pleasant. I would go back, and hope service was less slow next time, because the food was really good.

Our waitress was charming, attentive and friendly, food was excellent. Unfortunately the service in terms of waiting for the food to arrive was extremely poor other diners were grumbling too. Such a shame as I doubt we’ll return and others for fear of having to wait so long.
