The Point Dc - Washington

Very sweet and intimate. very reasonable with the price. I just wish the menu was something for selectiw. overall a great experience.

A beautiful environment and varied menu. Drinks were fabulous as the service. very special. if they don't know se dc, it's a little hard to find.

We order clam chowder and was not told that it had been in it after it had explained that it was peskatarian.

I think we finally found in dc! we have been looking for one for years! (I was at many places in this area that miss the brand). this place has not only fantastic eating and a bartender that makes the perfect splash, but they also have a really friendly and professional staff. we even had the privilege of talking to the gm (matt) that was an absolute joy! my advice for anyone who thinks about the control of this restaurant: do not skip dessert. the cake:

I started off with some cocktails, which were delicious. We did the restaurant weeks special. The crab donuts were yummy. I just wish they had a little more of the filling inside. The crabcakes were amazing. They were seasoned really well and the texture was perfect. However, the lobster was not. There was no flavor and was very chewy. My first bite, I was chewing and chewing and chewing; eventually I had to spit it out. Thankfully, we were able to exchange it for another order of crabcakes. For desert we were supposed to get the rum cake and crème brûlée, but they ran out of rum cake and substituted for the apple pie, which was more like an apple empanada. They were average. I was a little disappointed my crème brûlée didn’t have the topping torched. I was looking forward to cracking through the top of it. Also, the portion size of it was very small. Service was average. I feel like it took a little longer for food to come out and we didn’t see our waitress much. The ambience was great. It was larger than expected. The lighting was perfect. I also enjoyed their playlist. The music was playing a little louder but we were there towards the end of the night so that could be why. I really like that the outdoor seating had the fire pits. Overall, it was a nice experience. We had a good night.
