Restaurant bewertenThis meal left my parter and I near speechless. even though the waiting staff started to describe meat dishes as “bread and butter” of the restaurant when we got the vegan menu that we were in the sky. the menu is honestly a bit hard to navigate, but don't worry. the waiting staff helped us to feed a savory conversion and sampler platter escape. we shared both and ba brought the gut on two separate plates. the amount was hearty, we both have stuffed despite sharing. each dish in the entree sampler was great, and they all supplemented themselves to different ways. it was more than tasty, it was complicated and artistic, and I am not one who has been particularly price-service in the culinary experience, but this team has really found out. they were friendly, patient with the menu and well versed on the healing of a vegan-friendly meal. also the meal came with small tasty ones that were a surprise. as we waited for, for example, they brought a flatbread with four dips (probably: a dip was not vegan), which were delicious and clear. overall; great eating, great staff, great experience!
This point in the wide areas of the upper nw dc is worth the trip. the atmosphere is exotic, with cool art and new decoration. our server was in training and was as sweet and humble as he could be and explained that he just went plant-based himself hurra! we explained that we were vegan, and he was very good with the veganizable options in the vegetarian section, including that she had a vegan version (almond) of the classic yogurt sauce! that was a first for me, in the past I had to skip this element of the near east. I ordered the qabuli combination platter that was incredible. they had no vegan desserts that smashed us out and we asked our server to pass our endurance to the management. after dinner we made a walk through the grace that is enchanting. So a really funny night out, all in all.
First the service here was absolutely incredible! they offer free brot with amazing diving sauce to begin the meal. almost all vegetarian options can be made vegan. I wish there were more vegan appetizer options, but there are many wonderful entree options. I also had a spiced pear cocktail that was heavenly. my friend got a vegan braute aubergine escape, which was fantastic! at the end of the meal they brought a free rice pudding. when the waitress recognized I was vegan and could not bring the rice pudding, she sweet over two mini granatapfel martinis for us. I was blown away from the attention and friendliness of the staff all night.
This is the second layer of this fine afgani restaurant, and a third layer is to open in mclean, va with even more vegan options. I only ate one of the best meals I've ever had. I ordered the Qabuli combination plate and the kachaloo with mushrooms and sabzi lawaan. both dishes were perfectly seasoned, balanced, complicated tasteful, and each dish on the combination dish was spectacular! They have a large vegan menu and make sure to ask their server for recommended. the ambiente of this restaurant is very stylish and stylish and the service is 5 stars. make sure to make a reservation as this restaurant fills uo, also on Monday evenings. updated by previous review on 2019-10-14
