.Some of the food was very good, but one of the appetizers and one of the entrees were much too salty

A true jewel. With so many options in DC dining scene it took me 2 years to come back and I realized it was a mistake. Every single dish my friends and I (we were 8) was spectacular.

I like the authentic Greek flavors. Not watered down or Americanized. Always very good. Always good service. I'll be back.

If I want to dine on delicious high-end Greek food affordably, Mourayo is where I go. Fabulous fresh whole fish, or the delightful Pythagoras of figs, almonds, honey and pork loin, or delicate combinations of Branzino filet with fennel. Mourayo is consistently fabulous, affordable and the service is akin to being a guest in someone 's home. A very well known classical musician from Paris always comes here when in town: it 's that good.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner here. Everything we ordered was delicious and carefully prepared. The service was excellent as well and the food was reasonably priced. The Greek wine list is impressive . . .our wine was exactly what we wanted. We highly recommend Mourayo!
