Mamma Ilardo's Pizza - Washington

This restaurant is my reliable choice every time. The service is consistently excellent, and the quality and prices surpass anything else at L'Enfant Plaza. The food is always delicious. In fact, this is the only pizza place I know that serves breakfast as well as they do pizza. And their biscuits? Simply fantastic!

The customer service was acceptable, but it took about 20 minutes for the food to arrive. The meat lovers pizza was just average, and the wings were disappointing and dry. The chicken tenders were soggy, though the fries were enjoyable. If you're considering visiting this restaurant, I would recommend going to the nearby Five Guys instead.

The white chocolate macadamia cookie here is incredible—it's the best I've ever had!

The pizza is decent and reasonably priced, given the atmosphere. Just make sure they don’t leave your slice in the oven for too long. It's comparable to Sbarro versus Mamma.

We had a quick and delicious lunch that was quite affordable, with a wide variety of options to choose from. While the crust wasn't the thinnest New York-style pizza we've had compared to authentic NY pizza, it was definitely tasty and the location near the museums made the walk worthwhile. They offered Snapple and San Pellegrino drinks, and the marinara sauce with the calzone was delightful. The chicken Caesar salad was great as well! We also enjoyed some scrumptious chocolate chip cookies. Since we arrived for a late lunch, we had the tables to ourselves, which made for a wonderfully peaceful experience!
