Cane - Washington

This place is fantastic. Four of us walked in (including a hungry toddler) and they got us a table and high chair right away. We initially had a reservation down the street at the Fancy Radish, but were treated so poorly we decided to leave. Thank goodness we had lunch at this place a month ago, and remembered it was just down the street. We were treated as if we were welcomed house guests, and had a great time. The food was incredible (the fish, wow, and the flan OMG to die for), and it was very kid friendly. The only slight negative was the music was a tad loud, but it was joyful and fun. We'll 100% be back!

The food at Cane was delicious but my overall experience was terrible. I walked into the restaurant and the waiters didn't even greet me or offer me a table to sit at. One of the waiters had AirPods in and we had to ask where we could sit. The menu online does NOT reflect what you get in- person. I ordered at around dinner time and the serving size you get for the prices are not worth it. The sizes of the food I ordered were disappointing compared to the price.The music was loud and waiters were not welcoming. I do not recommend if you are looking to get your money's worth and feel satisfied.

Extremely poor service , we we’re basically ignored at the bar. The bartender was nice and tried to accommodate us but We had to ask for everything including plates and silverware. Our meals where delivered the same time as the appetizers. The food was underwhelming, not for anyone with a seasoned palette. The jerk wings were so salty and the oxtails and pepper pot had no bold flavors or heat. The drinks were just okay for the price. The entire restaurant was quite small, and we had to deal with flies while seated. Overall a very poor first impression.

The food and service was amazing, the waiter Tim was awesome and did a great job. There was a 20% service charge that servers don’t get so we essentially tipped 40%. (To give our server his 20% Supply chain issues from COVID are long past and it’s absolutely ridiculous to have such a fee. We will felt totally ripped off and feel bad for the staff, as we overheard other customers not tipping the server because of this outrageous fee.

This is an amazing spot. The food was sooo good, it almost derailed our plan for a neighborhood food crawl. We had to use our will power to refrain from just eating our full dinner here instead of the rest of the crawl. The Doubles were ON POINT. I wanted to order three more and call it a night.
