Restaurant bewertenIt was a great experience. The food was very good and the staff super friendly. We Highly recommend it.
We ate in the first floor dining area and found it cheerful and pleasant in a French bistro kind of way. Our service was friendly and perfect. We were brought the most wonderful crusty, chewy bread before the meal. My wife started with the special French onion soup, which was classic and had a perfect melted cheese top. I had the onion tart with a nice salad. For entree I had the veal cheeks braised Osso-Bucco style served with Orecchiette pasta, which was both gorgeous and deeply flavorful. My wife had the Duck Confit which is a preserved duck leg and was a classic great example, all paired with two different glasses of red wine. Dessert was a shared pair of profiteroles to finish a lovely evening.
We have always enjoyed this restaurant on during our visits to DC. The food is excellent and the ambiance reminiscent of a Bistro in France. Service is excellent and staff friendly and attentive. Compared to New York, this restaurant is top value!
Great food, great service, a bit loud during the dinner……. Otherwise, would definitely visit again!
Delicious as always we go often and it is always very good. Our friends loved it too. I was celebrating my birthday! Our favorite thing is the Isle Flotante! Tbe trout was delicious too!
