Restaurant bewertenWhat a hidden gem! this restaurant is so inconvenient that they may think they are at the wrong place when they arrive at the strip mall that it is located. roger, the owner, has treated our phone reservation, came to speak with us several times during our meal, and even brought us some selected wine bottles that were not yet on the menu (he is also a highly valued sommelier) the can not wait to go back and experience this again and try new menu items!
Excellent experience! the staff was warm and welcoming and the food was with some of the best restaurants we could enjoy throughout the country. the tuna sashimi with wasabi coleslaw and pan fritted scallops in a mouth watering broth were our appetizers and well paired with jars of silver peak pinot (fantastic choice if they like pinot noir) after looking at the generous portion sizes at other tables, we share the barramundi fish speciality served with a savory not least if they like pecan pie, they put a spin on them substituting pistazien in a tart served with a tasteful vanilla ice cream. do not let the inconvenient outer them thank the kitchen staff for their efforts.
The best place in Vero. Hidden in a strip mall 15 minutes from downtown, but worth the ride. The owner is welcoming, the place is cozy. Modern-southern food dark/bright, smooth/spicy and homestyle goodness. Nothing boring about this soul food and portions that leave you perfectly full. A little pricey, but you won’t hear me complain.
Zero complaints. This place was amazing. Food dining esthetically pleasing. John B Hartman Electrical did a wonderful job. Highly recommend.
Roger and Chuck have really made something special. Its coziness reminds me of some of my favorite hidden gems in Manhattan. The food is better than anything I've eaten in Vero Beach or the surrounding areas. We started with the tuna appetizer and the escargot. The sesame tuna was beautiful displayed atop a pile of incredibly delicious wasabi slaw: not too spicy, not too mild, just right; and it all floated on the most perfectly cooked giant wonton. My girlfriend had the Corvia with sweet potato fritter as an entrée, and I had the salmon with the corn bread pudding and fall mushrooms for dinner and it was spectacular. The salmon cooked perfectly, the corn bread pudding being one of the most delicious plays on anything corn bread I've ever had the pleasure to devour, and the earthiness of the mushroom medley really completed the dish. It was perfect. We had the zucchini bread with banana gelato for dessert and I would describe it but writing all of this has worked up an appetite. It was all magnificent, just go eat there. Thank you guys!
