Restaurant bewertenWhat a hidden gem! this restaurant is so inconvenient that they may think they are at the wrong place when they arrive at the strip mall that it is located. roger, the owner, has treated our phone reservation, came to speak with us several times during our meal, and even brought us some selected wine bottles that were not yet on the menu (he is also a highly valued sommelier) the can not wait to go back and experience this again and try new menu items!
Excellent experience! the staff was warm and welcoming and the food was with some of the best restaurants we could enjoy throughout the country. the tuna sashimi with wasabi coleslaw and pan fritted scallops in a mouth watering broth were our appetizers and well paired with jars of silver peak pinot (fantastic choice if they like pinot noir) after looking at the generous portion sizes at other tables, we share the barramundi fish speciality served with a savory not least if they like pecan pie, they put a spin on them substituting pistazien in a tart served with a tasteful vanilla ice cream. do not let the inconvenient outer them thank the kitchen staff for their efforts.
While traveling on I-95 North, we asked Siri for a five-star seafood restaurant nearby and found ourselves at Fire and Wine. Upon entering, the host was incredibly friendly and welcomed us despite not having reservations. The food was delicious and the service was exceptional. Highly recommended.
I took my girlfriend to Fire and Wine for her birthday tonight, after searching for the best dinner spot in Vero Beach. They truly lived up to their reputation and more. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable, the presentation was classy, and the food was prepared by a skilled chef. The short ribs melted in my mouth and the creme brûlée was the best I've ever had. However, what really set this place apart was the staff. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted like old friends and made to feel welcome and at home throughout our entire visit. I can only give them 5 stars, but they deserve more. It's no wonder why people consider Fire and Wine a local treasure. Do yourself a favor and pay them a visit.
I truly enjoyed the friendly and excellent customer service from our waiter, Mike, and our host Roger. The broccoli puree soup was superb, and our monkfish with carrots and mushrooms (substituted with spinach) was a delightful blend of flavors. My date ordered the filet mignon with french fries and a delicious dipping sauce. Everything was fresh and perfectly seasoned. Roger also provided us with a knowledgeable wine recommendation to pair with our venison dinner at home. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant.
