"Thanks to the advice from a colleague I had lunch in this charming restaurant, in the tiny village of Chevroux. It offers great food and lovely service in a relaxed atmosphere. I sat on the large terrace, with much room between tables. A huge thumbs up to the staff for providing an efficient and genuinely friendly service. The menu puts focus on fish, as well as regional and seasonal produce. I began with homemade ravioli filled with vegetables a light and delicious starter on a warm day. As main course I chose the baked trout fillet served with fresh cantrels. The portion proved really generous, the fish was fresh and perfectly prepared. As dessert I had the raspberry gratin with vanilla ice cream: truly to die for! For Swiss standards the prices remain surprisingly moderate. Including wine and coffee the bill amounted to CHF84. I will definitely come back."
