Restaurant bewertenApart from the setting/ view, nothing about the menu is to write about.I wish I had taken pictures to show. Please don't order Somtam, seafood pizza has more chicken than seafood
I have read some very critical reviews, especially regarding the service and low quality of food at this restaurant. However, my personal experience was quite different as I received friendly and polite service, and I actually enjoyed my meal. It is important to keep in mind that when visiting a cafe in India with a European name and menu, it is still a local establishment doing its best to offer European cuisine.
We ordered pina colada and kerepa drink both are very bad ,ordered pizza was ok ok , biryani was ok ok and pasta was pathetic.
I recently visited this restaurant for the first time since the pandemic. The staff and menu were unchanged, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Despite the lack of tourists in Kovalam and several cafes being closed, this place still offers a decent dining experience. I enjoyed breakfast, lunch, and multiple cups of coffee during my visits, and everything was satisfactory.
A neat and friendly place and service. As Germans we were curious what is offered there. Our children had „Käsespätzle“, it was made fresh and it tasted good. My husband had „Frankfurter with bread“ , this was ok- it‘s a Bockwurst and the bread is just „toast“. The rest of us had just some non-alcoholic Drinks (lime ginger Soda and mango smoothy) they were freshly made and tasted good. I would have excpected some fresh made bread or bakery items when one names his/her restaurant „bakery“ but nevertheless if you don’t excpext an „bakery“ it‘s a good and clean place for spending one‘s time. The view to the lighthouse and to the sea is great.
