Pane Vino E San Daniele - TRIESTE

Very slow service- took more than two hours to get Primi, did not stay around for a full meal. The food was mediocre at best.

It is a very cozy place. Pizza prices are fair (7-9eu). Pizza here is not the best in Italy. The waiter hasn't opened a glass of champagne, that's the only negative.

We came for Aperitivi and then again for lunch and were impressed on both occasions. The cocktails are very good, the pizzas are enormous and tasty, and the pasta is also reliably excellent. It is worth trying the various items with ingredients from San Daniele, famous for its food in Friuli-Venezia-Giulia.

Food, service and presentation of food are excellent. Good meat, good fish. Quiet and elegant surroundings. A great alternative to the usual restaurant.
