Restaurant bewertenFood: They had a good selection of desserts that weren't heavy or decadent. Light, for sure. I enjoyed my little sweets, and the prices were similar to bakeries downtown. Service: They were quick, friendly, and professional. I couldn't ask for more. Greatjob! Ambiance Cute little location, with a little sitting area. There is construction, so it is a bit hard tofind. Accessible Not quite accessible due to construction and narrow doors. However, it is pretty decent. Overall, I wouldgive it a 3.5. I wish google did half stars. Not bad, but not crazy amazing.
Came here to try their croissants. The almond and chocolate ones were all gone so ended up getting the raspberry. It was great at first but then the middle part of the croissant was too gooey and soggy because of the raspberry jam filling that was a bittoo sweet for me and prevented me from fully enjoying the layers of buttered softness and crispness of the bread. The patio wascool and there wasn't much of a lineup.
The French Made serves some of the best croissants and pain au chocolat I've had outside of France. Their espresso is also excellent.
However, be aware that these pastries sell out quickly, so it's best to go early in the day to ensure you can snag one. I also tried some of their other pastries, but they were just mediocre. The Pain Au Chocolat was crumbly with not enough chocolate, the Pistachio Lemon Loaf was dry and lacking in lemon flavor, and the Hazelnut Paris Brest Choux pastry was soggy with bland hazelnut praline custard. The prices were high for the quality of the items. Overall, the drinks and pastries at this bakery are overpriced, with the exception of the almond croissant which is a standout. If it weren't for that pastry, I wouldn't have a reason to return to this place.
The negative aspect of my experience was receiving a latte that seemed to have been diluted with water by the barista. Despite trying to ignore it, the result was a tasteless and diluted coffee. I have never witnessed this practice before and was left feeling disappointed. On a positive note, the croissant was delightful with its flaky and buttery texture, and the staff were incredibly friendly.
