The Monks Retreat - Teignbridge

Welcoming Landlord where nothing is too much trouble. Pleasant and helpful staff. The food was absolutely scrummy, South African chicken curry for me and beef guiness pie for hubby. Everything was cooked fresh, lovely! I was pleased to be able to have alcohol free cider and alcohol free G T, as opposed to a soft drink, as I was driving. The tables are socially distanced so for us, having not being out for 18 months, we felt extremely safe which made the evening even more enjoyable. Thank You so much! We will definitely be visiting again

Relaxed inside friendly bar staff nice decoration eating is nice so will try to get there only negative thing is parking lot they most likely have in the village hall parking and back to pub (5min walk)

Well looked after and the food was fantastic. Landlords have a great sense of humour. We were made very welcome. Our first visit but by no means our last!!

Absolutely brilliant little pub friendly service, wonderful food and a gorgeous environment. We were staying in the cottage next door and even had our food hand delivered to the front door!!! Totally amazing :
