Restaurant bewertenThat is one of the secrets of dead for the natives. it has a pretty small street front so it can be easy to miss. it is at the top of the high street, so make sure that they go the extra as it is worth. the coffee is great and the chocolate brownie gluten-free was great. we didn't try anything from the menu, but if we think about how many locals were there, it wasn't a problem. it is small, with a baptismal character. when they expect to go during normal coffee-solving times to wait for their brew, but great coffee is worth wsiting to the right!?
So sweet place with a very cozy and earthy atmosphere. coffee cake really came out fast and waitress was very friendly. chai cake was unusual (a lot less sweet than they expect, in any case tasted healthy, but tasty, and my decaf latte was excellent not too hot, so it 't bitter, beautiful and strong, good taste and not too thick/thin texture wise. not too much sitting opportunity, but it would be worth waiting for a table to be free!
The restaurant has a lively atmosphere with a pleasant vibe and efficient service. They opened early for breakfast, which was convenient for us since our accommodation didn't provide breakfast. I enjoyed the unique concept of the swing seats suspended by the front window, although it was a bit concerning to see some unsupervised children playing on them at times.
Fab place super cool and great coffee and Madagascan hot choc and vegan cake. Will go back for sure. Really great vibe and excellent quality
The Hairy B is a phenomena! I just love fabulous ideas and visionaries and Mr. Hairy B and team have created something special in Totnes and I count myself super lucky to live here. I have eaten in three times and I can honestly say each time it was utterly brilliant. Everything sang of people who care, people who want to deliver to a high standard but most importantly they want to make you feel welcomed and invited. I have to say I am utterly shocked by some of the bad reviews. Everyone has their own experience but mine was sensational and I will continue to pop in. What I will say is that I noticed that they are always super busy, I mean crammed because everyone wants to sample the goodies on offer. I have worked in hospitality and know it is a super juggling scenario so please, do me a favour and cut them some slack.
