Prompt accurate friendly service from the two female bartenders. However the two men coming in and out of the backroom killed the mood behind the bar. They both ignored the customers and gave glaring looks to everyone including the customers as they walked back and forth behind the bar. The music also didn't vibe for an Irish bar or the crowd.
I have never been treated as rudely as I was tonight by Trish, the bartender on staff this afternoon. Instead of greeting me in a courteous and professional way, she demanded I promise not to cause any trouble. I asked her to explain, and instead of answering my question, she tried to deflect the point back to me by saying if I didn't know what she was talking about, then I was that bad. I was so stunned, I didn't know what to say, so I left. I didn't swear, threaten anyone, or anything else. I got up and she threw a fit as I was walking out, screaming about how she was going to tell her boss. The curious thing is that I hadn't set foot in the Limerick since before the pandemic started, and when I did, a different bartender waited on me and everything was fine. I went in a week after that, and a different bartender waited on me, and it was fine. Oh well...
It's a short time ago on St. Patrick's day. I've been here before, and while it's nothing funny, it's the bill. We served immediately and drank our beers...
