Joe Black X - Sydney

I became curious with this hole in the wall café, as there is always a waiting queue when I am over. to my shame, the 2 bartenders are rude and unfriendly.

Joe black is one of the best restaurants to have coffee and spend some valuable time. the coffee was moderately sweet and brothbutter seemed fresh, the staff was very polite.

Service at this hole in a wall cafe was shocking. I've started getting my morning coffees here because of the lines (ie should be good) and convenience first experience with their service wasn't great, the lady taking the order is quite rude and snappy but the coffee was quite nice so I will let it go However yesterday's experience definitely turned me away from this place ordered my coffee and was waiting, some man walks past and the lady clearly knows him and offers to make him a coffee. Ordered from here on an app to pick up my coffee on my way back to the office after the gym. I tend to get skim but usually drink Lactose free at home as I can feel quite ill if I have too much lactose in the day. I was pretty excited to see that they had Lactose Free as an option for milk next to the usual almond and soy options. As I arrived, since I've never been before I mentioned that I ordered on the app, someone emerged from the back and shouted almond or soy A little confused i mentioned oh i ordered a lactose free again the same question almond or soy it then clicked that they hadn't actually had lactose free milk (that wasn't almond or soy). My coffee was absolutely disgusting. I was hoping this would be a good coffee place because the lines are always long and the reviews from everywhere are high. Maybe I got a bad batch, but I could barely drink this coffee...so close to throwing it out, but needed my caffeine hit Might try this place again in the future after I've made my way around to the other coffee joints in the vicinity.
