Restaurant bewertenCelebrity chefs cook fast food is almost a norm in Sydney now, Neil Perry did it, Warren Turnbull did it, and now it's Luke Mangan. Admittedly I didn't have the main menu but chicken tenders as a snack, so maybe I should give it the benefit of doubt and try it again? The low score is purely based on the chicken tenders which looks extremely sad and tastes extremely dry. I was almost in disbelief that a chef in his calibre, Mr. Mangan would endorse food like this - the meat completely lacked moist, the batter was soggy, it looked so sad that it should be in the bin, not on my lunch plate. This place may deserve a second chance and hopefully it will change my opinion. (sorry was too taken back by the poor quality of the chicken, I didn't get to take photos. And yes they did end up in the bin) thernbdiary.com
I heard this place owned by Luke Mangan, a famous Australian chef and in my country Indonesia he even has a fine dine resto called "Salt Grill". Probably this burger joint targeted for middle class, cause it only placed in foodcourt. I came here cause bought voucher from scoopon. Imho burger taste average. I got chicken burger with kimchi, but i didnt taste any kimchi at all, it just pickled carrot with a bit kimchi sauce and even taste more sweet rather than spicy sour like kimchi should be like.
Way overpriced for a very average burger and wrap. Wouldn't recommend and wont be going back. Chicken was tough which is perhaps unsurprising given how long you have to wait for a meal. Pity as it could be a winner in a pretty small food court.
Lovely staff. Bun was toasted but the top felt so cold. Love the taste of my gangnam style burger, fresh and tangy. However $14 is quiet expensive for a small size burger. The basil leaves inside already turned black.
Chicken is underwhelming. No flavour. Tried it out to see if it's good. Probably won't come back again. Overpriced too. KFC has more flavoursome chicken
