Restaurant bewertenI took a group of 23 elderly ladies, from Cricklade Open Door, for lunch at The Baker's Arms. We were a large party for a small village inn but they coped admirably. The service was quick and efficient, with a smile and nothing was too much bother for the staff. All our lunches were thoroughly enjoyed because they were cooked well, chips beautifully crisp, served hot and they got all orders correct. A very reasonably priced lunch which made for a lovely day out for the elderly and those who don't often get taken out. Thank you all at the Baker's Arms.
We went for Sunday lunch, looking for a location that was easy for everyone to get to. We found a great place with delicious roast dinners. The roast potatoes and variety of vegetables with gravy were tasty. The service and beer were also excellent. The children's portions were generous and tasty. Everyone enjoyed the desserts as well. We highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely come back for family gatherings.
What a great find this was. On our way back from a family day out we discovered this jewell of a little pub. The two ladies were real gems and the food was amazing. They even prepared a separate cheese salad for one of us that didnt find anything on the menu. It's a pity it's a bit far away to go regularly but we will definitely go back. Thank you ladies what stars you are.
Probably the best fish and chips we've ever had and the staff were friendly too. Apparently they do something with their batter using rice, which makes it extra light and lovely. We live reasonably locally, so have been telling all our friends and family. Will definitely be back to try the other menu options.
Lovely pub with a good menu and friendly staff. Quality of food was excellent. An enjoyable anniversary lunch.
