Restaurant bewertenThis is not even super cheap $8.50 for a small container that is 75% rice (I did not see the dinner boxes, do not know how they go.) that is still at the lower end for the price, but eating is definitiw at the lower end. it was the fucking huh and cashew I've ever had. I am quite sure that no sauce, seasoned or even garlic came close to the cooking process and they would have had a lot of time because everything had been thoroughly boiled, even the cashews were soft.
If I knew that this place appeared for review, I would have taken a lot of photos since I had visited him at least 10 times last year. do not understand me wrong, it is not a gourmet meal or not even something especially healthy/nice, but it serves a purpose well cure Saturday morning kater! yes, greasy chinese is the only thing that works for me and this place is only accessible to foot. it is mainly with a few tables in the so-called dining room. the prepacked meal of rice or pasta with a dish costs about $5, definitiw cheap. tastefully it is best in average. I tried various dinge omelette, sojahhun, Mongolian lamb, sweet acidic pigs, etc. as expected it is fat, gooey...read more
Not bad came on the other day for my own version of tightass dienstag' and well surprised. 3 dials with reis or nudel resets them back $10 and because this certain crossing of elizabeth street (between tilax devonshire) attracts all kinds, cheap ess for $1 (fail wings, dim sims, spring rolls) are available. this option to leave the menu order makes sense, as they have centrelink on the road, backpackers between the busy work and commuter routes logged in from the central station thoroughfare and surrounding office blocks. thai chilli chicken was questionable, but good, the sweet sour was not hard on the teig I liked, but it was the...read more
Not bad at all - came in here the other day for my own version of 'Tightass Tuesday' and well surprised. 3 Choices with Rice or Noodle sets you back $10 and because that particular junction of Elizabeth Street (in between Kippax & Devonshire) attracts all sorts, cheap eats for $1 (chicken wings, dim sims, spring rolls) are available. This option to their off the menu order makes sense as you've got Centrelink up the road, Backpackers lodges in between the bustling work and commuter routes from the Central Station thoroughfare and surrounding office blocks. Thai Chilli Chicken was questionable but good, the Sweet & Sour wasn't heavy on the batter which I liked, however it was the Malaysian Satay chicken with veg that won me over and will bring me back again. This whole spread complete with makeshift entrees - just $16.80 - value at it's best in my opinion, enough choices to explore and find your perfect meal.

Don't get me wrong it's no gourmet dining or not even anything particularly healthy/nice, but it serves one purpose well - cure Saturday morning hangover! Yes, greasy Chinese is the only thing works for me and this place is within walking distance. It is mainly takeaway with a few tables in the so called dining room. The pre-packed meal of rice or noodles with one dish cost around $5, definitely cheap. Flavour wise it is average at best. I tried various things - omelette, soy chicken, Mongolian lamb, sweet sour pork, etc. As expected, it is greasy, gooey, salty, and in a way a bad representation of Chinese cuisine. The flavour is really below average even by Chinese takeaway standard. Hence I only eat it when my head is so sore that my judgement and taste buds are impaired. thernbdiary.com
