Bare Grill - Surry Hills

We were greeted with big smiles and great service. The Big Bare burger and smoked pork ribs were amazing. Nestled between the fluffy tasty milk buns are two generous beef patties that are tender and juicy with a good beefy aroma. The caramelized onions, bare sauce, and cheese give it a good balance of sweet, creamy, and salty flavours. The shoestring fries were fried to perfection and covered in delicious chicken stock powder. Just the best burger I've ever had to this date. 8 hour smoked Pork ribs were also very tender and full of flavour. The barbecue sauce was not too sweet and gave a good tang to the overall palate. You have to try both of the above. The only letdown was the banana milkshake that tasted like banana flavoured (synthetic) not made from actual fruit. This made me bring the overall experience down to 4 stars from the otherwise fulfilling dinner.

Came here on the weekend for lunch and easily found a table. I recommend getting the raclette cheese on top of a burger or veggies if you are a cheese lover. Well worth the calories! The loaded fries, golden gaytime shake and onion rings were my favourite sides. I tried the ribs too, however, they were a little dry for my liking. Staff were helpful in explaining the menu and I'll be back for more burgers soon.

This place has a funny smell, you can’t quite put your finger (or nose) on it. And then you see them melting massive blocks of cheese under a grill this is poured over many items on the menu. Friendly service, food was good, the meat was perhaps a little too salty. The chicken was delicious.

Came here with mates and we shared two of their popular platters: The Bare Burger Hibernator and The Smoked Meat Hibernator. Both platters definitely gave a wow factor when they arrived on the table. Huge and full with many exciting goodies, I just wanted to try them all! Well, I was too full to try everything but I tried most of them and everything that I had was delicious. The burgers were definitely awesome as well as the ribs. My favourites: The burger (not sure with the name) Beef ribs Tomahawk steak Bbq chicken Waffle fries with cheese (not sure what the real name of the dish is) Pulled pork filled potato skins Onion rings Cheeseburger spring rolls Overall I had an awesome dining experience there and even their coffee was pretty good too!

The best burger I've ate in my entire life. Fries were amazing, the spice used makes them perfect. Meat was juicy and well-seasoned. Service could not be better. You totally should add a Raclette cheese on the top of your burger. I highly recommend this place for dinner.
