Japolo Sushi - Surrey

Japolo is our go to place for Pho and sushi. We go there a couple of times a month and the food is always yummy and service is quick. I recommend Japolo to anyone looking for a good quick meal that is reasonably priced.

Dinner for two. The lemongrass chicken is very nice, decent sushi, light and tasty tempura. My combination plate and a lemongrass chicken dinner along with 3 appetizers totalled $42.00Cdn No alcohol but a nice selection of Nona alcoholic drinks

I love the sushi and rolls here! The chef's special is a crunch roll and very simple but perfect. The Olympic roll was delicious, ask the chef for a dragon presentation. My favorite was the delicate jelly fish with shark fin. The Toro and salmon sashimi was super fresh and literally melts in your mouth. We also had unagi which was torched and caramelized. Some other really good dishes include deep fried tofu, baked oyster, spicy scallop roll and the list goes on. I've never been to a sushi restaurant that has so many solid, good consistent items on the menu. Will be coming back for sure!

Love the sushi here; great quality rice and fish. Ask the chef for what is fresh. He's great at cooking but needs to not answer his phone when people are seated at the sushi bar. The place looks bad; everything is run down and worn but the sushi is great. The vietnamese we had was good but not amazing (we have a favourite place we go and this isn't it.) I go here for the sushi!

This amazing sushi chef was missing in action for 2 years but now he is back and better than ever. I' m talking about rose made out of salmon brought to your table. This is a must visit for sure. Try the sushi pizza. Be patient with the service as sometimes language is an issue but you won't be disappointed
