Restaurant bewertenFood was good but picata was not up to snuff. Prior to this order we had marked Bucci's chicken picata the best. My bolognese twisted pasta was excellent as was the lamb meatball. Salads were excellent--all four of us agreed. Lauren our waitress was not as attentive as she could have been. Service was--we all agreed-in need of improvement.
The food was absolutely embarrassing to Dante. And I love Dante’s restaurant. I don’t understand how he has anything to do with this restaurant.
To start the waiter recommended the squash blossom appetizer, it was delicious. The four of us all had pasta dishes and each one was great. In fact we all agreed that when we come back we would all have the same thing. The only disappointment was the Tiramisu , would not recommend that at all.
Contemporary Italian Cuisine. Inspired menu, not your everyday heavy Italian fare. Orederd half portion of cabonara and 2 meatballs. Pasta was just enough so took (large) meatballs home for lunch the next day! Server was very attentive and we had a lovely meal.
Hubs and I love Dante in Tremont, so when I saw DC Pasta was another Dante resturant, we were excited! We made a reservation for our anniversary. We drove right past the restaurant. It's tucked in the back of a plaza. The place was dead when we got there. I thought it was a new restaurant. Apparently it's been around for 6 years! The food was delicious. We had a zucchini appetizer, wine, their 2 most popular pasta dishes (the bolongnese and the carbonara) and cannoli for dessert. Everything was delicious, the service was great. I can't believe this place isn't more widely known. I think the location is part of the problem. Hopefully we just hit it on an odd night. Would definitely recommend!
