This classic all-American diner is tucked away in a quiet mini-mall on Staten Island. The photo menu was so extensive that I struggled to lift it! Unlike the Greek diners in Manhattan, this place has its own unique local charm. We enjoyed a delicious vegetable omelette with home fries and English muffins, as well as a healthy egg and turkey bacon wrap paired with a fresh fruit salad. The coffee was great with plenty of refills, and there were large cookies covered in chocolate chips on display at the bakery. The menu also features numerous sandwich options and hearty hot entrees for dinner. It clearly attracts locals and regular customers. Prices are reasonable, and the portions are generous. Definitely a gem to keep on your list!

I absolutely love Oakwood! They serve the best sandwiches and food in the area. The waitstaff is always fun and friendly, and the place often gets crowded, which is a good sign that the food is fantastic. Their delivery service is impressive as well; they’re usually pretty quick. I highly recommend their food to everyone.
