Restaurant bewertenSooo good! A very local feel. Had the French toast bagels and they were the best we’ve ever had! Definitely recommend!!
A Delightful Twist on a Classic Breakfast SandwichNestled in the heart of downtown, Fancy Bagels is a quaint little bakery that caught my attention with its promise of unique bagel flavors. Intrigued, I decided to try their much talked about cinnamon bagel bacon egg and cheese sandwich, and boy, was it a treat! The first thing that struck me was the aroma of warm cinnamon as I entered the bakery. The cozy interior with its rustic decor added to the charm of the place. I quickly placed my order at the counter and eagerly waited for my bagel sandwich to arrive. When it finally arrived, I was mildly disappointed. The cinnamon bagel was a sight to behold it was toasted to a golden brown, with a generous sprinkling of cinnamon on top. The aroma of cinnamon wafted up as I took my first bite, and it was a delightful surprise. The subtle sweetness of the cinnamon paired exceptionally well with the savory flavors of the bacon, egg, and cheese. The only downfall was how hard the bagel actually was.Speaking of the filling, it was a true winner. The bacon was crispy and flavorful, adding a smoky and salty note to the sandwich. The egg was cooked to perfection a golden yolk oozed out as I bit into it, creating a luscious and creamy texture. The melted cheese added a gooey and tangy element, tying all the flavors together. The portion size was generous, making it a satisfying meal on its own. The bagel itself had a dense and chewy texture, which provided a hearty bite. The combination of flavors and textures in the sandwich was well balanced and satisfying, leaving me craving for more.To accompany my sandwich, I ordered a hot cup of coffee from their extensive beverage menu. The coffee was robust and smooth, a perfect complement to the richness of the bagel sandwich. The service at Fancy Bagels was friendly and efficient, and the prices were reasonable for the quality and portion size. The only downside was that the seating area was a bit limited, but it didn't dampen my overall experience. In conclusion, my visit to Fancy Bagels was a delightful experience. Their cinnamon bagel bacon egg and cheese sandwich was a creative twist on a classic breakfast favorite, bursting with flavors that complemented each other perfectly. With its cozy ambiance, friendly service, and delicious offerings, Fancy Bagels is a must visit for bagel lovers and breakfast enthusiasts alike. I highly recommend trying their unique bagel creations for a delightful and satisfying meal.
I recently moved to CT; the bagel place I have been going to near me was closed one day, and I had family with me for the holidays we all had bagel cravings, so I drove 45 minutes to check this place out because the reviews looked good. Well, let me tell you, good is an understatement. This place is PHENOMENAL. The quality is absolutely outstanding, and it is only exceeded by the staff friendly, courteous Jackie and her staff go above and beyond to make sure their customers are pleased (they don’t have to try too hard the food is phenomenal . I have had their breakfast sandwiches; my mom, the lox and cream cheese, my brother has had their chicken salad AND they have a large list of flavored coffees I tried the Coconut Almond Fudge and the Maple French Toast (we came back twice in 3 days! OMG!!! And just for reference, I was born and raised in the outskirts of NYC, so I know a good bagel when I taste one. I’ve now abandoned my old bagel place (sorry the 45 minute drive to go to Fancy Bagels is absolutely worth it! Love love love!!!!!
I stopped in here after a long hike at Ragged Mountain to grab a breakfast sandwich. I was excited to see all their bagel options as well as the interesting meat options they had for egg sandwiches! I got the pastrami, egg and cheese on an everything bagel and it was really good. The everything bagel had a good amount of salt on it (which I love) and was toasted nicely. I will say that I didn't have much egg or pastrami on my sandwich, but considering the price of $3.99 it made sense. I'd recommend a visit in, they are being very safe with gloves and masks!
Bagel with cream cheese and smoked salmon is delicious. Cool Rockstar photos on the wall,Jerry Garcia is my favorite.
