Restaurant bewertenWe decided to place and order for collection we don't usually do this) we usually order and wait. I called up and the the line wasn't great and I had to repeat myself many times, I also wanted a kebab not with a pitta with a wrap and it packaged individually fussy I know). I felt that I explained this clearly. Anyway my partner went to collect and he came back shocked and said it was £23.80 for a small chips, dip, 12 inch pizza, small chicken kebab which was in a pitta with a individual wrap. I called right away to question this and he said his prices had recently gone up and I didn't have an up to date menu! I explained that I had a menu here and as far as I could see our total order should have been £8.50 for pizza, £4.10 for kebab, £1.50 for small chips, 50p for dips. the wrap was a replacement for the pitta and they cost the same so this should be no more) therefore a total of £15.10. to be charged almost £8.00 more than the menu stated! He did say his prices had gone up, and in fairness he admitted he mistakenly over charged! After much discussion he eventually agreed to deliver the money back to us. A very nice lady came back with our money in around 10 mins after the phone call and apologised again and we asked for a new menu with the current prices however these haven't been printed! SHOCK! my advice to you Mr CHIP is to print your menu first so you are not false advertising) and then when you take phone orders the first thing you do is explain your prices have increased and also always give a price summary! Its really annoyed me!
Just had the yummiest spicy burger and chips from Mr Chips. Food was delivered hot and fresh. I love the food and service at Mr Chips, highly recommend them !
Mr chips is the best chip shop in kinver. the orange chips are delicious and crispy, the battered sausages are by far the freshest i have tasted and the pies are a lovely consistency. The service was very friendly, attentive and fast.
All I really need to ask on this review is why are the mushy peas that colour of green!?!? It's like a fluorescent pine green. And they taste horrific too!
Walking around Kinver Fair last weekend, we called in at Mr Chips on the high street for a cone of chips to eat while ambling around the stalls.
