Britannia The Beach - South Hams

I only showed up when I was in the opposite to try their Cheesy chips after a recommendation of a friend. I was not disappointed, a fairer part has definitely filled me, delicious crispy chips (not fat stuffed soggys) with a generous help of cheese.

Beautiful fresh fish chips- was cooked nicely. excellent take service - very quickly efficient. menu very varied - each quantity choice, fish, huh, etc. i was nice to- staff very friendly

Fabulous 2 hours lunch in britannia today. crab cake and calamari to begin, followed by this stony delicious fish and seafood for the net. we also managed to press in pudding! great, relaxed service.

We had a nice dinner in britannia. a very friendly staff helped us with a large selection of meals. the sea was fresh and delicious, with the desert to come back.

On our recent holiday to Devon we visited Britannia at the Beach several times as the food was just so good. Whether we had seafood, burgers, or just an ice cream the food was outstanding every time. The staff that we spoke to were all friendly and helpful too. Britannia was easily the best place to eat of all those we tried in the area, so it's a huge thumbs up from me. We'll be back!
