The best poboy I have had in a long while. Good food, very friendly staff and a very clean restaurant. We will be back.

Was headed back home to ‘Bama and had to have a Shrimp Po’ Boy before I left Louisiana and it was delish and the Fried Jalapeños yum!! And to top it off the entire staff were very friendly and wished us safe travels! Saving the Red Beans ‘n Rice until I get home. ?

The new ownership has made this place worth coming to again! The ONLY place in Slidell to get a REAL, old school, shredded, pot-roast style roast beef poboy! And you can not beat the service, everyone here is so pleasant and kind. I eat here about twice, sometimes 3x per week and I’ve only ever had one extremely minor issue, and when I called the management immediately took care of it even better than I had expected. They know who I am when I walk in, and you can’t get that level of service ANYWHERE these days! If you haven’t been since Southern Boys took over please give them a chance it will definitely be worth your time. They have a forever customer in me!

Absolutely fabulous! The fried pickles are the best in Slidell and the roast beef po-boy was fabulous, juicy, messy, and so delicious! The new owners are just as wonderful as the previous owner, kind, gracious and they are locals. We will be back, again and again!!!
