The Hampton Social Skokie

I WAS NOT PLEASED WITH MY BILL AND THE AMOUNT AT ALL. I ORDERED AN ENTREE ALONG WITH AN APPETIZER SO THE ENTREE CAME WITH CHIPS BUT I WANTED FRIES. INSTEAD OF ADVISING ME TO DO THE UPCHARGE OF JUST $2 FOR REGULAR FRIES I ORDERED FRIES THAT I WANT THAT WAS $12! WHY NOT OFFER ME THE SAME THING THAT LATER I FOUND OUT BY MY FRIEND THAT DID THE SAME. I HAD PUT $40 ON THE IN KIND APP THAT EQUIVALATED TO $54 ONLY TO STILL HAVE TO ADD CLOSE TO $12 AND MY TIP. TOTAL UNHAPPY MOMENT.

Birthday was acknowledged and very celebrated. Waiter was very helpful with menu!! Fantastic food

The two pizzas were good, but the roasted chicken was pretty plain and $27 for bone-in chicken is pretty pricey. Drinks were very overpriced. $18 for and small cocktail was excessive. The drink cost more than the pizza. The pumpkin brownie with brown sugar gelato was the best dessert I think I have ever eaten.

Food is good. Slightly overpriced. Great service and ambiance. Perfect for a casual dinner or date night.

Service is unfortunately sub par. hostess was whining when we arrived, 3 bus boys sat on their phones behind our table and didn't even come by to clarify everything. we sat with dirty tassen and dressed until we have absolutely lost nothing. when the food was delivered, the server was shut down and simply placed on the table and wandered away. the waitress was sweet, but did not offer us any more drinks. it seemed like nobody worked there. we often come here and after this last sub par experience I do not think I will be back
