Budget-friendly restaurant located by the Bentota river. The food is mediocre, but the highlight is the enjoyable boat ride along the river.

My wife and I took a leisurely stroll to this restaurant for lunch and were impressed by the serene setting overlooking the river. It was a quiet and peaceful place with reasonably priced, delicious food. I ordered the devilled pork and noodles which came with a side of chillies to add as much spice as desired, a nice touch. However, a downside for me as a Brit was the lack of alcohol options on the menu. We enjoy a pint with our meals while on holiday.

We arrived at this restaurant spontaneously at 8 PM for a drink. Instead of encountering tourists, we met some locals, which was quite amusing. The staff was very friendly and accommodating towards us.
