Restaurant bewertenI had a terrible experience at this restaurant. The take away service was the worst I've ever had. It took half an hour to receive my order, and when we asked for a discount, they refused but offered a free starter for next time (which we will not be coming back for). To make matters worse, our order was missing chips and rice, which was frustrating. The food we did receive was warm and tasted terrible. The staff was unhelpful and rude. Overall, I was very disappointed with this restaurant and would not recommend it.

So we chose to order from here on new years day. We placed our order and ended up waiting hour and minutes to get cold food delivered. We rung up to complain and the best the manager could offer was off our...next visit. I can tell you, we are not planning to revisit!! After minutes of arguing, they agreed a refund but only if we returned the food to them. There was no communication about the long wait time, I am appalled at how bad the customer service was. I work in the hospitality industry as management and I would never consider providing such bad service. I definitely recommend finding an alternative takeaway if you're considering eating here! Lost two loyal customers.
Having arranged a take away meal for my parents from where I live) I was told by my parents that the peking duck was burnt and the meal was inedible. I contacted Happiness Cantonese and was told they would do nothing about it as...I had left it four hours before notifying them even though legally I am obligated to notify them on the day of having received the meal. The meal had been kept for their collection to verify the complaint but they were not interested as I was told they would not be able to re-sell the meal, which leads me to believe that if it had been within the hour that it would have been resold which I would imagine that is a violation of health safety. Their attitude in dealing with this complaint was indifferent and when I asked to speak with a manager was told the manager was not in and did not speak English and there was no-one in a position of management in the company who spoke English except the cashier who I was already speaking to.
