Restaurant bewertenFood was good but only one meal served hot. The first two tables were wobbly. The third was solid but too close to a cold air vent. Waitress was very low energy, lacked basic skills like pouring coffee without spilling down the side of the mug and had to be asked to refill coffee and even water glasses. She didn't really seem to care. They didn't answer the phone when I called around 8:45am to ask about breakfast service. There was plenty of staff on hand yet we waited quite some time to be attended.
Food was extremely disappointing. Ordered 2 filets first time was raw. They said they will make it again. So we waited another 20ish so minutes for 2 more meals and this time they brought out filet and again it was raw. Also for the food served it is expensive. I highly advise staying away. However our server was very nice so that was a positive. And even that you eat in a hotel lobby it is a pretty hotel lobby.
Carmen's is hands down the most beautiful restaurant in Scranton, and next is Posh. Carmen's has a great menu, excellent appetizers and salads, plus amazing entree dishes including beef, seafood and veal. It's the perfect atmosphere whether for dinner or to celebrate with family at their fabulous Holiday brunches. Absolutely worthy!!!
Good food, no mimosas or drinks in the morning, but still a good visit.
1st off...its beautiful. It's a converted old train station...tons of marble and the ceiling!!!! 2nd, our server Marissa....AWESOME. 3rd...great drinks, perfect steak, delicious risotto and stellar creme Brule. We had our anniversary dinner there and there's nothing I could've improved on.
