Barbareño - Santa Barbara

Barbareno is a Santa Barbara neighborhood gem. The food is local and fresh and the service is first class. You can sit inside or out. My favorite is the black cod and crispy brussel sprouts.

My husband and I ate here for our 10th wedding anniversary. It met all of my expectations. The food was exceptional. My only complaint is it’s beer and wine only (I just really like a full bar! but even that didn’t minimize our experience.

I have to say I never do reviews, but this place was stellar! Excellent food—high quality , great taste and presentation. Farm to table. All made from scratch—pasta, bread, etc. One of the best restaurants I have been to. Nice ambiance. Good service. The food was the star. I can’t say enough positives about the food. 5 stars. I would highly recommend to anyone. I can’t wait to return and try more dishes!

Amazing service, really high quality local products. We enjoyed some of the dishes more than others (the cod was too sweet and the carrots too heavily spiced) but overall very much enjoyed the experience.

We couldn't eat there. the restaurant cried and canceled our reservation due to a personal outbreak of covid. I hope I can eat it soon one day.
